Have you ever wondered how some commercial real estate brokers seem to attract clients so effortlessly, as if by magic?
They may not have made a cold call in years or spent a dime on sending out flyers or advertising. Yet, somehow, they’re regularly featured in newspapers and magazines and get invited to speak at conferences.
Would you like to join them in getting all the business you can handle?

In my last post on Donald Trump’s Recession Strategies, I mentioned that asking quality, empowering questions have led to his undeniable success. So the questions that begs an answer is this:

Failing as a Commercial Real Estate Broker
As the credit crunch squeezes the sleeper-hold on the commercial real estate market, thousands of brokers are struggling to stay in business… and thousands have already called it quits.
But what if you’re somewhere in between doing well and calling it quits? What if you have a couple of months of reserves and the prospects of closing a deal are not good before you run out of cash?
Should you take a side job to support yourself while commercial real estate makes a comeback?
After all, what do you have to lose?
The answer is everything! And here’s why…
I recently met an old friend over coffee. We had not seen each other for almost 20 years… a long time by any measure.
I was expecting him to have progressed along in his life like everyone else…. steady job, married, 2.5 kids, etc.
But I was blown away by all the things he had accomplished since we last saw each other!
Not only had he built from scratch — and consequently sold for $200,000,000 — his technology consulting firm, he had written and published 3 books, had gotten married and adopted a child, had become an active investor in commercial real estate with a nice sizable portfolio, managed to land and hold several board member positions in various companies and local organizations, and was an amateur golfer on the golf circuits…
He was now working on his next business venture.
That’s more life than most of us can imagine living in two life times!
So how did he do it? And what does that have anything to do with the Success Pyramid or commercial real estate brokers?
