Success

You can become a rainmaker!

Which kind of success have you been experiencing on a consistent basis?

Sustained, lasting success… or… the flash-in-the-pan kind of success?

Have you ever wondered why?

You’re in for a surprise if you think it’s somehow dependent on being talented, coming from the right family, setting SMART goals, superior strategic thinking, having money, having a vast professional network, or anything else that can be had!

Although all of the things we just mentioned do play a role in becoming successful, they do not play a key role in sustaining success.

Sustained success hinges on developing and mastering, in a specific order, a system of characteristics, skills, and habits — five to be exact.

I have organized these into what I call the “Success Pyramid”.

The Success Pyramid™

I haven’t even told you what the Success Pyramid is, and I can just hear the arguments brewing in your head as you read this…

There are hundreds of other credible experts, authors and lecturers who talk about success… Stephen Covey has his ‘7 Habits of Successful People‘, Jack Canfield has his ‘Success Principles‘…, why is this “Success Pyramid” any better?

Unfortunately, this type of question misses the point.

The Success Pyramid isn’t better or worse… There isn’t only one way to organize the principles that lead to success. Stephen Covey and Jack Canfield just have a different perspective on the topic.

Nevertheless, in the 16 years I have been consulting and advising businesses and independent professionals, the Success Pyramid has never failed to produce sustained success.

The Success Pyramid

The Success Pyramid

I’ve personally proven it over and over with my clients, regardless of which industry they are from.  I’ve worked with commercial real estate brokers who have increased their net income by 1000% in just one year.  I’ve worked with start-up CEOs who have turned their business and personal lives around, taking their companies to the height of their fields in less than a year.

These results are typical and repeatable.

And the most interesting thing is that anyone can use the concepts laid out by the Success Pyramid to sustain success.

Over the next few weeks, I will discuss the pyramid in detail on this blog…

I will explain the structure of the pyramid, the role of each component, and the order in which you should begin implementing the system the Success Pyramid lays out.

In the meanwhile, let me know (in the comments) if you have run into any other system that can guarantee sustained success… I doubt there are many out there.
