I recently met an old friend over coffee. We had not seen each other for almost 20 years… a long time by any measure.
I was expecting him to have progressed along in his life like everyone else…. steady job, married, 2.5 kids, etc.
But I was blown away by all the things he had accomplished since we last saw each other!
Not only had he built from scratch — and consequently sold for $200,000,000 — his technology consulting firm, he had written and published 3 books, had gotten married and adopted a child, had become an active investor in commercial real estate with a nice sizable portfolio, managed to land and hold several board member positions in various companies and local organizations, and was an amateur golfer on the golf circuits…
He was now working on his next business venture.
That’s more life than most of us can imagine living in two life times!
So how did he do it? And what does that have anything to do with the Success Pyramid or commercial real estate brokers?

Build the right systems to maximize your income potential
True or False? In tough markets, the most important factor in making sure you survive in commercial brokerage is having the right business skills (including market knowledge, networking ability, sales skills, etc.).
What do you think?
Is there anything more important than your business skills when it comes to surviving a tough market?
After all, if you’re good at what you do, then you should be able to survive any market… right?
Wrong!
In tough markets, all bets are off!
What used to work in good times doesn’t necessarily work any more…
In tough markets, the name of the game is SPEED!
Here’s what I mean…

Success is like a three-legged stool
Which area of your life should you improve continuously to be most successful in business?
If you picked #1, #2, or #3… you’re virtually guaranteed to fail!
Here’s why…

What's the weakest link in your chain of success?
The reason you still have not achieved the level of success in commercial real estate that your abilities and intelligence should enable you to has little to do with your real estate experience, your sales skills, your ability to close deals, or your technical know-how.
Those things do play a role, but the real issue has nothing to do with talent or brains.
It does, however, have everything to do with your ability to pull everything together and make it all happen — no matter how challenging the circumstances.
This ability is what I call integrity.
A lack of integrity is the most common and the most lethal shortfall of professional failures.
Sadly, it is one element that is consistently missing from all commercial real estate training programs.
It is the single most important factor in determining your long-term success or failure in commercial real estate — or any other field (after Vitality, that is).
Here’s why…

Rev up your business by revving up your vitality
Why is it that staying healthy is the first thing that goes on the back burner when people focus on their careers?
Everybody knows that staying healthy and vital is important… so why do so few people really make it a priority?
The answer is that for most people, the traditional eat-well-and-exercise routine is a total waste of time!
Spending hours in the gym doing the rat-on-a-treadmill routine, or lifting weights for hours on end like a mule just doesn’t work…
There is a smarter way…
You can regain your Vitality with far less effort, often in less than 3 hours a week.
Here’s how…
